BABY TO BE

My good friend from high school is due on January 2, her first baby: a girl! She mentioned the room decor is green with yellow and orange. My first time putting a border on a quilt, and the backing is green soft soft minkee! This quilt is on its way to Chicago, where it will be waiting for the arrival of a baby girl!

MICHELLE

Third quilt! For little Michelle in her 7 months. I have more of this fabric so I will be making another quilt changing the pattern of the squares. This quilt lives in SF. Michelle's Mommy will be washing it prior to use, waiting on results.

ISSAC

My second quilt. For my adorable godson Issac. He is the cutest 1+ little munchkin boy, I was inspired to make a cute quilt for him. This one has two layers of the thin batting, which was by accident but I really like the extra little bit of puff. This quilt will live in NH when I deliver it in October.

HEN

My first quilt. For my BFF, MOH, Exit Buddy, Hen. The hardest part was definitely figuring out how to arrange the squares. I used the thinnest cotton batting available, since this quilt lives in Panama.

Most of the colorful patterned fabrics were purchased from Rainbowfrabics on Etsy. The fabrics used on the other side of the quilts and the batting were purchased from Prairie Queens Quilt Shop. The instructor for my first quilt was Michelle, who teaches at Prarie Queens Quilt Shop and many other locations. Most of the girls in the class were between 10 and 14, which made me feel like a late bloomer, but it was so fun.
